Product Introduction of Externally Fed Rotary Drum Filter
BOEEP externally fed rotary drum filter is a kind of the pretreatment solid separating device, which is used for small and medium wastewater treatment plants. It can remove solid suspended matters continuouly and effectively. In some wastewater treatment, 30% to 60% of the suspended solid matters will be removed after the filtration, which can greatly reduce the load of the next process.
Structure of Externally Fed Rotary Drum Filter
BOEEP externally fed rotary drum filter consists of a cover, an assemble drum, a water tank, a transmission device, a flushing device, a dreg plate, a frame, and so on. When the external feed rotary drum filter works, the gear motor drives the drum screen to rotate, and the floating matters in the sewage are intercepted on the screen after filtering, and transferred to the slag plate by the rotating drum screen. At the same time, the flushing device is backwashing the screen surface. The washed grid slag slips into the garbage truck or conveyors.
Working Principle of Externally Fed Rotary Drum Filter
The rotary drum screen does the rotary movement by the driving device, and the sewage flows from the inlet pipe into the water tank, then outflows to the outlet. The solid materials are intercepted by screen, and the water is drained out into the pool from the gap of the screen. The cylinder rotates continuously, and the solid substances attached to the outer wall of the screen quickly fall down from the drum.
The backwashing system is composed of a flushing line and nozzles. The high pressure water is sprayed through the nozzle in a fan shape to sieve barrel, and the solid object attached to the sieve is flushed out quickly.The filtration is continuous and non clogged. The externally fed rotary drum screen has the characteristics of high efficiency, large throughput and fine filtration.
