Product Description The XBS rotary decanter is an important equipment in the Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process(SBR). It is also the most widely used in domestic. This kind of water decanter can work steadily, easy control, no leakage, flow smoothly and not disturb the sludge. Since the SBR process using a batch reactor, not need secondary sedimentation and sludge return equipment, can save a lot of investment in infrastructure and with good treatment effect, which has been widely promoted in our country. Its basic operation procedure composed by water fill, react, settle, draw and idle five basic process. It's a complete cycle from waste water fill to its idle. The XBS rotating decanter achieves the function to drain the treated water quantitatively and regularly, that makes it possible to continuously treat the water in SBR pool which is the final purpose. |
Working Principle
The XBS rotating decanter is mainly used for decanting in drainage stage, it generally stops at the highest water level of the upper pool. The decanting weir is driven by the transmission mechanism and then descends slowly to start decanting. Water goes through the decanting weir, supporting pipes, main pipes and flows out continously. When the weir goes down and arrives at the pre-set depth, the transmission mechanism begins to reverse, which makes the decanter quickly return to the highest water level, and then it waits for the next order.
Application
Suitable for SBR process of CASS, CAST, ICEAS, DAT IAT method process, such as urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment. It is widely used in the treatment of industrial wastewater (waste liquid) in papermaking, alcohol, dyes, pesticides, leather, viscose, monosodium glutamate, sugar and other industries.

1-Decanting depth of decanter can be designed according to process requirements.
2-Using the PLC program control to realize the intelligent drive. The decanter quickly moves the decanting mouth from the parking position to the water surface after receiving the drainage instruction, draining the stillness of the supernatant and draining the water back and forth. When the rotary decanter reaches the lowest water level, the level switch that is placed at the lowest water level sends out the return instruction, and the decanter quickly rises to the original parked position and completes a working cycle.
3-Within the load range specified by the weir, the liquid level under the weir will not be disturbed. The mouth of the weir is equipped with buoy and slag stopping plate to ensure the effluent quality.
4-Special design ensures the balance between gravity and buoyancy of the decanter, so that the power consumption of the decanter is very low.
5-The rigid connection between the decanter and the main drain pipe is stainless steel, which avoids the disadvantages of high failure rate, short service life and high maintenance intensity caused by soft connection.
6-The whole decanter has a strong support, which can withstand various stresses in the work.
