Product Description of Sludge Hopper
BOEEP sludge cake hopper is a collection and storage device for the dewatering sludge cake after dewatering equipment. The sludge cake will be input on top and discharge at bottom. The hopper body will be design to resist the bending stress by inside pressure. When the sludge reach a certain amount, the valve at the bottom of the hopper will be opened to discharge to sludge cake to the truck directly.

Working Principle of Sludge Hopper
Jaw gate
There are two jaws at the bottom of the sludge hopper. The sludge is collected and discharged by controlling the two jaws which are controlled by the electric driving rod.
Flat gate
There is one flat gate at the bottom of the sludge hopper. The sludge is collected and discharged by controlling this flat gate which is controlled by the electric driving motor.
Installation of Sludge Hopper
1-Generally, in the newly built sludge dewatering room, the dehydrator is placed on the second floor, so the sludge hopper is fixed on the second flat floor. And the garbage truck can catch the sludge at the bottom of the sludge hopper. It is convenient to operate and maitain.
2-If a sludge hopper is placed on the a flat ground, a scaffold is usually used to raise the sludge hopper. The height and width of the scaffold should be beneficial for the entry and exit of the truck. Sludge from dehydrator is fed into a sludge hopper by a shaftless screw conveyor.
